“Light dancing its abstract reflections on the water’s surface, trees bending to the wind’s fury, the quiet contemplation of a gurgling creek, the passionate reds of a setting sun. Bold energetic colours are my emotional link to these personal moments in time. Images emerge on my canvas starting with a spontaneous process of pouring, dripping and spraying acrylic inks. The physicality of painting is like dancing the tango at the beginning, slowing to a waltz near the painting’s completion as my brush strokes become gentler and less hurried.”
